Compromising while my Eyes were Wide Shut

What joy it was to go to Napa and go wine tasting with Adam! I fell in love with Merlot and the abundant flavor in each tasting. From hints of oak and spice, to berry and plum, each winery offered a different tasting to tease my palate.

Spinning Out of Control

I went upstairs thinking I was going to sleep and then just became furious. I startled Adam when I woke him up and told him what he was doing was not something I was going to put up with anymore. I have worked hard for everything we have, 12 years of staying with him, aiming to have a home for our children. Funny how things work out–a new home with lifeless people in it.

I was Blind When I Said My Vows

I was blind when I said my vows, literally. I didn’t want to wear my glasses so instead I tried putting contact lenses on the day before the BIG day, but just couldn’t get those little suckers on. I was impatient, nervous and jittery about putting anything on my eye.
