Grace, it’s amazing how everything works out! I’ve been looking at apartments and this time, I found one that I think would be perfect. The tenants, who lived there for twenty years, are finally moving out, but they plan to leave in a week. The property manager mentioned that the apartment wouldn’t be ready for us until three weeks. I haven’t seen it, but she described it and it sounds perfect for us. I know, I know, I can’t believe I signed the agreement without looking at the apartment. But you know what, Grace? Something is telling me inside that this is the apartment for me. I just know it.

I have to admit that I was chuckling when you mentioned signing the agreement without seeing the apartment. I don’t recommend doing this all the time. I do think your action symbolizes the incredible trust you have in your own intuition. This is powerful and will be important to remember when things go sideways. This will ground you and strengthen you.
To stay connected to your internal voice, it is necessary to be still and listen so you become familiar with the various forms and sounds this voice may take on. You may experience it like a soft whisper, a loud thunder or maybe like a constant, annoying ticking of a clock. It’s not always going to be the same. Each event is unique and this inner voice needs to get your attention. The one thing to remember is that a lot of times it starts in the whisper, but gets louder when you ignore it. Sometimes it may even manifest itself as an illness, which causes you to be very still, only listening to the loud silence.
So how will you know you are following this voice? The answer is simple. It will always have your best interest, lead you to truth and help you experience inner peace. Isn’t this what you felt when you signed the agreement for your new place? Your inner voice will have more power than any logical explanation. I encourage you to continue to practice and let your inner voice be heard because it has something very important to say.
