Here is my rendition of Jesus’ Beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew 5:3-12 (known as blessings) for all those that find themselves dealing with financial frustrations when getting divorced.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from financial battles, for they will know the value that peace brings.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from the power of money, for they will gain real power in living a life of compassion and kindness.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from using money to control, for they are free to buy stock in God’s will.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from using money as a means of revenge, for their investment of forgiveness is multiplied.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from the obsession of money, for they will have room for forming bonds of trust.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from greed, for they will have access to the abundance all around them.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from holding on tightly to their possessions for, they are open to receive pearls of grace.

Blessed are those that divorce themselves from the seduction of money, for they will be lured by love alone.

Rejoice and be glad for divine riches are yours forever. . . Priceless!!!

After 12 years of marriage, I found myself suddenly divorced with two sons to raise. Inspired by life's events, I decided to create "Eve" and tell her story, a story that will resonate with many women. "Eve" will take you through the good, the bad, and the ugly of marriage, motherhood, career and divorce. After numerous delicate situations, she decides to surrender her life to a higher being and welcomes her guardian angel who teaches her life lessons. Join "Eve," her guardian angel, and friends as she takes you through an unimaginable journey of self-discovery.
