Grace, you speak about suffering. In the past year, I have suffered a great deal of loss: loss in marriage, friendship, family, dreams, hopes, and investments. With every loss, there has been a gain: freedom, reconnection of the self, strength, new dreams, different hopes, and investments in me. Suffering has, indeed, melted away plans I had made. God has a plan for me, this I know.

I have let go of some career dreams and hopes to let God do His work. I realized when I began working on my new endeavor that God was working through me. What wonderful use of my life! He gave me my potential and is now being used for His purpose. Finally. I believe I am doing His will and it brings me great joy inside and out.

Guiding Lesson:

Eve, this past year has been a year of transformation and purification within your soul.  It has helped ignite the light within you that was going out.  Now you shine and are working to align your will with God’s will. You are in the flow of grace and it is evident by the gifts and blessings you are receiving.  Take a moment and notice what this feels like and the difference it makes in your life.

As you look around, would you consider yourself having arrived or would you describe it as coming home to who you have always known yourself to be? How do you stay in the flow of life and aligned to God’s will when the ego likes to take control and the message is reinforced by the world around you? Where do you go from here?  How do you sustain this?

The answers to these questions involve discernment, taking time to sit with God and listening to Him every day (morning and night). The morning should be a time to clear out and create openness of mind and heart.  This will help you receive the many messages God has for you throughout the day.  In the evening, it is listening to what God has done, said or given to you.  It is like breathing.  The morning prepares you for the inhale and the evening prepares you for the exhale.  Taking 20 minutes (minimum) in the morning and at night allows you to stay connected with God as well as become aware of how God speaks to you.  He varies his communication with people and makes himself known based on who you are.  You eventually realize that you and God have your own love language and you will recognize it because you are listening in a new way.  Ask God during this time to remove your blindness and your deafness and give you new eyes and new ears.

God’s always willing to makeover your soul and I know you are more than ready to receive.

Love, Grace
