The surgery for my breast implant and breast lift went extremely well. One minute I was telling the anesthesiologist what my favorite cocktail is and the next minute I’m awake. The first person I saw was Adam. He was next to me when I awoke and was smiling. He knew I wanted to get the surgery done. I guess Adam was pleased that he could give me something in return for all the pain he has caused me.

No matter the reason, I was so excited to see two bulges bandaged across my chest. I can’t wait to greet them and welcome them into my world. I have been taking care of the twins and me this entire week. Adam has slept next to me just to make sure I didn’t turn on my side or my stomach. I appreciate his effort to take care of me. My mother came over to our house for a few days to cook and take care of the boys while I rested, taking pain medicine as needed. I have a high tolerance for pain so I didn’t need to take the medicine as often as prescribed, but rather took the medication as I felt the onset of pain. I prefer it that way.

Grace, I told myself I was going to host a coming out party for the twins. The doctor said I can wear a regular bra after a month and I want to look stunning. Well, actually, I want the twins to look stunning as they take their first peek. LOL

Guiding Lesson: Transformation of body has taken place.  A new birth.  A new addition. Eve, have you thought of what this means, what will change and how it will impact your life?

You mentioned having a coming out party for the twins. I know this is the most visible change but there is so much more that has happened to you on so many levels. Think about what else has been transformed that you can celebrate. You have been evolving and are in the midst of reinventing yourself.  Don’t just limit this to your augmentation. Plus the twins are willing to share the lime light.  They will be getting attention regardless of the party.

So think of where you have been, where you are and where you want to go. Think big, you have your twins as a reminder, and imagine a world you want to create for you and your sons.  A new year is a head of you. This is perfect timing to do this.

Well, Eve, it’s time to say goodbye to what was and welcome in a new year with a new body, mind and spirit. Celebrate all of you.  You are more than your twins. Champagne anyone?
