On Marriage: “Party of Three: Two Handsome Young Men and Me”– I had so much to be thankful for and two precious reasons were looking right back at me. They make me smile… I was grateful for having a job, for having our home, for having time to be with my boys, for having my friends and family who love me, and for God’s grace that I knew was going to get me through this really challenging time.
On Motherhood: “The Human Garbage Disposal”– Why is it that as mothers some of us are the garbage disposal to our children’s leftover food? I’m not just the human garbage disposal for one child but two! I don’t want to waste the leftover food I see on two plates for several reasons.
On Career: “Going Full Monty During Work Hours”– Why bother with a landing strip when you could go full monty? Cleaner, less obstruction and very low maintenance.
On Divorce: “Rosy Got the Best of Me”– Sometimes the answers, Grace, are already evident, clearly in front of us. But when we wear the rose-colored glasses, we see everything as rosy–at least, we want to see matters of the heart in that way.
